The concept behind the website is simple.
Boxers' representatives, or the professional boxer themself, place the boxer's details to register so that matchmakers, promoters, trainers, and/or managers can access the information and contact anyone that might be suitable for their events.
The concept behind Boxing Matchmaker originated because there is a lot of professional boxers looking for fights out there yet promoters couldn't find them. Realizing that most of the fighters are in the early stages of their careers and as such cannot justify having a publicist on their payroll, Boxing Matchmaker concluded that the best way to help professional boxers would be to create something that would get their names in front of the people that matter - the matchmakers and promoters.
Promoter/matchmaker would require copies of a professional license and medical information, including full scans, so there is no chance of getting a fight unless you have a verifiable amateur or professional history in the sport.
